he's the rambam, rambam do-wah
We had our first Maimonides meeting last night. I enjoyed it a bunch, good discussion and then a really hilarious speaker, a fairly relig guy who used to be a Hollywood writer and can therefore laugh at himself.
Here are the nicknames I've come up with for the program:
Maimons
Maimonadizzles
Rambam class
The 'Des
Fellowship of the Jews
I'll think of better ones. Anyways, life is going well, Hillel's having "Win A Date With A Nice Jewish Boy Or Girl" tonight which is going to be hilarious/fun. This week is kind of insane. I had Maimonalicious last night, tonight is the Hillel thing, tomorrow night I have to go hear a speaker for stupid U class...I don't think there's anything on Thursday, but Friday there's Shabbat stuff with Maimonastophocles and then probs going out with Hannah. Saturday morning there's more Maimonna-wanna stuff. Oh, and class or whatever. So yeah. Tons of stuff goings on.
Today I was going to go to the main building to work on my drawing but then I realized it was cold and lame and I didn't want to carry all my shit over there. So I'll just hurry during class tomorrow to get it done by the end. I can do it.
I have one page to write today for English, then I can relax till Hillel. But I'm probably gonna put off English for a while longer.

i guess you better put your flat feet on the ground
Sitting around, Thursday night.
I went to facials with hillel tonight, it was fun but left my face smelling like too many things at once, so I washed it all off when I got home. I did two thirds of my design work today, but it's not due until next Wednesday because we have no class Monday. Um...I have some reading to do for English tomorrow but that's it. I'm pretty stress-free at the moment, it's quite nice.
The only problem with Thursdays (on which I have no classes) is that I just sit there and eat the entire day long. Then I feel gross, but what can ya do?
Last night I watched Memento. What a trippy movie. I was a little distracted by the plot at first because the main character was a bit of beautiful to look upon. But once I got over that, the movie was ridiculous/amazing. The ending of course is the craziest part, but only if you've seen the entire movie straight through. Otherwise you'll think nothing is happening. But, since I had seen it all the way through, it was amazing.
For some reason I've had in influx of getting new music in the past few days, ranging from M Jacks to Blues Traveler to Lion King on Broadway. It's all cool, it'll entertain me during my next drawing class.
Speaking of which, I LOVE drawing class. It's a stress-reliever and it's fun and I love to draw and I get frustrated so rarely. Love it. Last class I sat there listening to High School Musical 2 and like, shaking my head around and tapping my feet. I must have looked pretty funny.
Right now I've got some Michael on. All I wanna say is that, they don't really care about us.

whatever, i'm getting cheese fries
Long time no updatey.
I'm back at school, everything's going well except for a horrible incident which unfortunately is the norm when living in Philadelphia. Like I said, highest crime rate in America.
School's fine, Mondays and Wednesdays are ridiculous insane with eight straight hours of class, but it leaves hours upon hours for the rest of the week in which to relax and do the homework for tough classes. Really, only the first two hours of Mondays and Wednesdays are really difficult because they are English and Physics. After that is Drawing. It's relaxing, and it gives me CCY flashbacks, which makes me really really happy. Then Design, which tends to be just plain amusing, if not a little frustrating. I'm super exhausted at the end of the day though.
Okay. I need to go get laundry. Byebye.
