my name is cupid valentino
Ahh back to school.
Happy to get back to Philly, but the homework load at the moment is a little overwhelming. I have work to do in every single class. It kinda sucks. It's not like it's all due at once, but the term is ending in less than two weeks so ya know, this is my last chance to get my somewhat lackluster grades up. Actually, my grades are probably only lackluster in the following classes: fashion and University 101. Reasons are as follows: I don't care and I hate them and they are pointless. Oh and physics...I have no idea what I'm going to get in that class. I know I'm not failing anything, but I'd really like to do well, ya know? I have to take University 101-2 next term, which sucks again, but I think that'll be the only class that's totally unrelated and useless.
I just finished a design thinger that's due for tomorrow. I can't call them projects because we have them twice a week. Though each one is the size of a project. Whatever. This one's all mixed media and such. I don't really like how it came out, but I've given up on using my own judgement with these things because it's useless. I just tend to go in expecting criticism no matter what. It's not a self-pity thing, it's a matter of survival.
I should really get back to work...I've been working on design for a few hours though, I think I can take a break to blog and eat dinner. Gonna go do that. Eat, that is.

this is what evil must taste like
Ahhhhh so happy.
I'm literally having the best Thanksgiving break ever. I'm just having so much fun, and constantly.
Plus, today is an absolutely beautiful day out and the foliage looks amaaaazing. I love Milford foliage. Love it. Good weather always puts me in a good mood. Happy. :)
Plus I've still got three more days of good times!

my wallet's too small for my fifties and my diamond shoes are too tight
Going home so soon I can taste that pumpkin drink from Cafe.
I have another stupid class today. University 101 got cancelled, which was nice, I got to sleep an extra hour. Then I had my honors seminar, which I like. But next I have to go to stupid Survey of the Fashion Industry. All we're doing is watching a freaking movie...Are we in high school? Why couldn't she just cancel the class if we're not doing anything useful? It's very frustrating, it's just a chunk out of my day.
My train's at five, I'm taking it to NY Penn Station, where I'm meeting my mom. Then we're going to meet Marty and go out to dinner cuz it's his birthday. And then Mom and I are taking the train home. Should be fun, even though we won't get home till late. We'll be in NYC so we can take the train straight from Grand Central to Milford. I love that we can do that.
Alright, well I have to go to STUPID "class" and waste an hour and a half of my time. A'bye.
UPDATE: We went to class and only a few people showed up, so she was like, you guys get extra credit for coming, but let's all just go home. So yay! Freeeeee

we're the lamest frat on campus. even hillel has better parties than us
They just said that on Futurama. I nearly died.
I'm sort of just hanging out tonight, which I'm actually really enjoying. I haven't been home at night in like two weeks, so it's kind of nice to just sit on the couch in my pjs and watch tv. It's relaxing, like Vv time at home in Milford.
Oh man, going home so sooooon. If I get a design project over Thanksgiving I will be VERY upset. But yeah. I'm so excited to go hoooooome. I'm literally too excited. Like I might explode, excited.
I have a design project that I desperately should be doing, I've had a million opportunities to do it, but I just haven't been able to bring myself to.
Well, I just got a call so I'm gonna go hang out. Though I very much enjoyed my Vv time. Thanks, self.

"i love milford, connecticut!" "why don't you just go there and stay there then"
AVIVA'S TOP TEN FAVORITE PLACES IN THE WORLD, in a particular order.
1. Kibbutz Ein Tzurim, Israel
2. Jerusalem, Israel
3. Milford, Connecticut
4. Queenstown, New Zealand
5. Portland, Oregon
6. Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
7. Castaway Island, Fiji
8. Amsterdam, Holland
9. Montreal, Quebec
10. Christchurch, New Zealand
TOP THREE LEAST FAVORITE PLACES IN THE WORLD. I couldn't think of any more than three place that I hate.
1. The state of Florida
2. JFK International Airport. Or any international airport, really. Locals aren't too bad.
3. Any Olive Garden.
I was watching the Travel Channel this morning (Monica likes it, I don't normally watch it) and there was a Passport to Europe show on. The lady went to Switzerland. She went up this mountain, called Jungfrau, on a train, and it was sooooo beautiful and now I want to go! So I have decided that some day I shall go to Switzerland. A Sharon Creech book I read once was based in Switzerland, and that made it sound beautiful too. So I want to go. And I shall. Someday.

pray lady, could you see me in the darkness
Andrea Barrett (who wrote our summer reading book) was speaking today at Drexel. We had English and then had to go hear her speak. However, she was boring, and we had things to do, so we left after about 20 minutes. We also skipped physics. This gave me time to pick up "textures" (ie dirt and leaves) to bring to design. I also took a shower and cleaned my room, and now I have a few minutes to relax before going to design. I like having time between classes. It's really relaxing to me to be able to get stuff done and not have it weighing on me during class. My phone is even plugged in so I don't have to worry about it dying. I do have a bunch of work to do tonight, but I think I'll be able to get it done. I'll also have another design project, but I can do it over the weekend.
Well, it's time to go to design. I'm so ready.

how do you get down from a duck?
You don't, you get down from a goose! Hahahaha so funny.
I'm having a fun weekend. My mom's here for parents' weekend, we been doin stuffs. We went shopping this morning and got happy warm stuff from EMS. We also went on a duck tour today, it's like the fourth one we've been on in that many cities. They gave us quacker thingies. From there we went to a wine-and-cheese thang in the student center, the president of the college talked for a few minutes. He seems very personable, and has a Greek accent. After that we went to meet our various cousins for dinner.
I love my extended family. Love them. Whenever any of us get together all we can do is gossip about the others. It's the best, it makes me smile so much :-D There were like eight or nine of us I think tonight. After that we stopped by my Aunt Gert's condo, which is beautiful. Another thing I love about my Philly family is that every single one of them was like, call us if you need ANYTHING, seriously, EVER. Call us. I was like, aw...thanks. :-D Happy fams.
Right now it's about 11 pm. I'm sitting around contemplating whether or not to go out again. I probably will if the opportunity presents itself.
I'm finally wearing my shmancy Uggs and winter coat, it makes me really happy that it's cold out. I looooove sweaters.
Mk. Gonna go continue watching Remember the Titans, cuz it happens to be on.

her green plastic watering can for a fake chinese rubber plant
Hanging out.
My suite is filled with candy, which I have been eating for the past five hours or so. I have no idea whose it is or where it came from. But now it is in my tummy.
We finally got our real remote so now I can watch Hannah Montana again. This is extremely good news.
I have stupid frustrating University 101 tomorrow. I wish that class would set itself on fire. Not the actual class, but the idea of the whole "The Drexel Experience" course.
Abbie and I decided to get married. Send wedding gifts to:
Aviva Isenberg
Suite 1104B-1
3300 Race St
Philadelphia, PA

I need a closer. Mmmm....
Tada! Haha I'm funny.
